Independent satire

This website is political satire, not a government service. The Bureau of Ordinary Concern has no affiliation with any government agency, no official authority, and no investigative or enforcement powers. Forms, classifications, notices, and case numbers are fictional.

Permitted use

You may submit fictional scenarios or anonymous reflections on your own experience for the purpose of examining profiling, xenophobia, or unfounded suspicion. Keep the account general and do not identify any person.

Prohibited content

• Names, contact details, addresses, workplaces, immigration or citizenship status, or any other identifying details.
• Real reports alleging immigration violations or requests to investigate, locate, expose, or take action against someone.
• Threats, harassment, hate targeting protected groups, doxxing, unlawful material, spam, or malicious code.
• Automated flooding, attempts to bypass access restrictions, or impersonation of a government agency.

Moderation and removal

Submissions remain private. Authorized administrators may classify, mark as spam, export for private moderation, or delete them. Automated filtering may reject legitimate text or flag a submission incorrectly. No response, investigation, publication, or action is promised.

Your text

You retain ownership of your original text. By submitting, you permit the site to store and privately review it for the operation and moderation of this project. Submission is not permission for public publication.

Live conversations

Calls and messages are voluntary conversations with the satire creator in a fictional Bureau role. They are not official reports. Do not identify or make allegations about real people, and do not use the desk for threats, harassment, or discrimination. The application has no recording or transcription facility. End the conversation if you do not wish to participate.

Availability and fictional references

The site and its satire are provided as available. A case number does not prove that any event occurred, create a legal record, establish a claim, or entitle anyone to action. This site does not provide legal advice or emergency assistance.

Privacy and deletion

Read the privacy policy before submitting. Keep your private receipt if you want to delete a record before it expires.
